It was a normal day here. Sheep and cows are grazing the grass. Cod, salmon and many more species of fishes are swimming freely in the river. The sound of water streams along with the breeze of wind gives this nature a lovely calm music, thus pleasing the ears. Birds falling in the sky makes the art of nature even better and picture-perfect. Wait a minute, 'birds falling in the sky'.
"Ahhhhhh-" screamed the 'bird'.
Splash! The screaming fellow fell in the water, which was actually a lifesaver. He would've died if he landed on the earth. His body sank deep into the river. After catching conscious of his situation, he swam up as quick as he could before he loses his breath. His head popped out of the surface and he sucked the air in the atmosphere into his lungs. His eyes widened following an inspection towards his surrounding. "W-What happened? Where am I?" he questioned himself. His surrounding seemed familiar. And after a couple of seconds, an answer jumped out of his head. "Wait this is-".
He suddenly sank down into the water again. He was weighted by bodies falling from the sky, similar to how he fell a while ago. He squeezed himself out of the three bodies that weighted him and flapped onto shore. "I shouldn't have got up to the surface earlier," he claimed. He got up on the land and sat by the river. He panted heavenly as he used all his energy to squiggle out of the sudden load that fell on him. 'That was surprising. Who are they? They look like me, only different from appearance.' he thought to himself.
Bubbles of air rised from the water. And burst out three figures imploring for air. After inhaling air to the end of their lungs, one of them questioned, "W-What happened? Where am I?". Same questions as earlier. "Well, you were falling on me, and you're in Cave Game," he answered. The other two were shocked for what they've just heard. "Yo-You mean that sandbox game?" the both questioned him.
'Cave Game, what's that? I never heard about it.' And so, a question came along. "Um, hate to break your conversation, but what are you guys talking about?" the lost one demanded for an explanation of the conversation.
He couldn't bear to watch them in the water, so he coughed for their attention and commented, "Before you could have chat, how about you three get up here first?"
They all gathered on land and sat down, forming a circle. They got onto a part of the land where it was clear without any trees. The three continued their conversation. "Now that we're all in place let me ask you, how come you don't know about Cave Game? It's a popular game y'know." And so they talked to each other while our first character we stumped up with was still staring at his own thoughts. He took a sight at the three that just fell on him earlier. 'Who are they?' he questioned without a sound.
"Lemme explain it to ya. Cave Game is a sandbox game, where you can mine, craft, build and do all sort of things. It's like you're playing a life simulator game except you're surviving on your own or with your friends. There's ton of stuff you can do here," explained the boy who knows Cave Game in that three group. The girl just kept quiet and listened.
"There's one thing that's off, we're not playing but more like living in this game," he corrected.
"You actually got a point there," he unwillingly admitted.
"Wow! It's like Gun Draw Online. That show took place in a game as well," our friend that had no idea about Cave Game exclaimed.
"Not trying to break the mood or make anyone panic but, I think we're trapped in here," he explained his theory after trying to find the main menu, or just anything that would show 'exit', which would let them to get out of this 'life'.
The three sat there frozen for a moment as they stared at him and his statement. Then, they started doing all sort of stuff to find the 'exit', but it was no use. Whatever they do, they seem to be unable to find it.
"Oh neko! This is sooo like Gun Draw Online."
"Dude! What are you excited about right now!? WE'RE ARE TRAPPED IN HERE! WE CAN'T GET BACK HOME!"
"Oh neko..." he reword his speech, and with a feared tone of voice.
"W-What should w-we do?" the girl's voice that has been muted the whole time suddenly made a sound.
By that time, the three was in panic. They're mind were everywhere.
He glanced at them as he sits on the ground. He got irritated and lost his calm. "Everyone please listen! Whatever has happened to us, we need to build a shelter first. You two have played this game before right? One of the unwritten laws of Cave Game is: Build a shelter first thing when you spawn into a new world," he shouted out loud; it was so that they would put their attention to him and listen to his plan. It was not a good idea to just panic; panicking isn't the answer for any problems. Their eyes were held only towards him.
They realized their mistake. They should've think calmly the situation rather than panicking mindlessly.
Time waits for nobody. By the time everyone realized, it was already in the evening. Everyone rushed to the woods without any good equipment, or even a wooden axe. They need to get as much wood as they can to make a place to stay for the night. Making tools and weapons wasn't a choice to be considered now.
"You punch trees to get wood?"
"Don't question this game's logic."
After a certain amount of time, the moon took over the sun. The surroundings started to get darker over time; a perfect environment for the monsters to lurk.
Our friend who was just starting to learn about this game was in the distance, punching trees to obtain wood. "Hiyah! Oh neko! Guys is that the main reason why we need to make a shelter."
The others turned their heads towards where the newbie was. Their eyes were focused at the zombies wandering in his area.
"Come here quick!" he commanded.
The newbie rushed to them and stood behind with the girl. It was really dark and many glowing eyes deep in the jungle were staring at them. Everyone kept on taking steps to the back while holding their guards on the front. As they realized it, steps were no longer available for them as they've come to a dead end, a wall of stone was blocking them; it was like a small hill cut into half.
"Okay listen up you three, I'm gonna build a box so stay in my perimeter." he commanded.
"No!" the girl shouted out. Everyone was shocked at the sudden urge of the girl. They turned their heads to listen what's she up to. "You can't do that. It'll be dark if you shut everyone in here! We need torches." she added an explanation for her behavior.
"But we don't have time to mine coal!" he defended himself. Coal and stick was an essential to make torches and they don't have coal in the moment. "We'll have to settle in the dark for now."
"There would be a chance of mobs spawning suddenly if you keep on insisting with your idea," she responded back.
"You have better ideas?!" he questioned with a blown fuse.
The girl was struck surprised at first. But then, she stood back up brave and continued her speech. "Don't worry, we can make charcoal out of the woods we got from earlier by smelting them in a furnace. We can use charcoal as substitute for our missing coal. The only thing now is, I'll need some time to get eight blocks of cobblestones."
"Tch! Still need to mine for that furnace either way."
"Better than having monsters in your 'SAFE' hut."
"Not to interrupt your sweet chatter, but their coming closer y'know."
