Chapitre 61: Angel In Devil's Wings

"Mr. J!" Delilah called for James. She was looking at him around the house but found him chopping wood with an ax with one hand behind the house. Somehow James did it, although his other was strapped on his shoulder. In the meantime, James had to chop some firewood for the fireplace, and Delilah was stunned to see him.

Panting, James turned to see Delilah. She was standing at the side door calling him. James then threw the ax up and caught the handle precisely with the same hand. He did so while walking towards Delilah. Delilah swallowed her saliva with some strange goosebumps on her neck. She slightly witnesses how skillful James is to catch the ax's grip in one hand as if the magic show.

"Are you home?" asked James coldly. Delilah dumbfoundedly nodded. She was still clutching the shoebox for James. James glanced left and right before tugging Delilah's arm to get inside the room.
