Gypsy gripped the steak knife in her hand tightly, her 'fight or flight' response getting activated.

But if she faltered now, she would just confirm his hunch. Thus, she did her best to remain calm. Thankfully, her creative brain came up with a smooth way to get out of that problem.

"Your Highness, Yvo is very handsome, isn't he?" Gypsy asked proudly, smiling. "That's probably why I look average next to him."

She said it as casually as she could while cutting the filet mignon on her plate.

So, basically, they exchanged meals. She gave Prince Lucius salmon, and he gave her steak in return.
