Sasha was moved by his words and she appreciated him coming to her and telling her everything but like he said, no amount of sorry can erase the pain he put her through, all the sleepless nights, all the nights she stayed awake doing nothing but cry. Just saying sorry is not going to wipe away the pain embedded in her heart. Saying sorry is not going to make her look up to the sky and forget everything in a whim. Normally, when he says sorry, she forgives and wants them to start all over, but he hurt her so much that despite hearing him give his reasons and the struggles he went through, she did feel bad for him but it didn’t move her enough to jump into his arms as usual.
