Chapitre 15: All for You

"Narcester! Narcester! Get out of there!"

Noises came from downstairs, and the continuous banging of the metal gate awoke them in a hustle. "Sir, please stop, you will wake the master up."

"It's better if he's awake!" he yelled. "Narcester!" Lanxter continued to yell, slamming on the door with force.

"Sir, the master will be angered to see you. Please, leave a message to us, and we'll convey the message to him." the maid anxiously begged him.

The nanny is afraid of her master if she can't contain the man, she'll be scolded or could be fired given Narcester's hatred against noise.

A strange sound came from inside the houses, there were heard crashing sounds of things breaking, like some kind of figurines and ceramic objects. It continued creating rattles and commotions as the maid's backbone shivered.

The doors slammed, and objects started flying as if thrown as they showed into the opened glass windows. Every sound that came inside made the maid jolt up, frightened.

The noises sounded louder than before, heavy footsteps started to batter the ground. It felt closer and closer as the maid's hand shivered.

Narcester kicked the door open, he held onto the top frame of the door and hung his hand on it. He was shirtless and his hair was a mess from sleeping, his eyes were heavy but they glared down at the maid with such a heavy expression.

"What's this nonsense about, Celestia?" he said, his voice was still hoarse upon waking up, he had a cold expression on his eyes, carrying none a glisten.

"S-Sir, I tried to tell him...to go away..." she stuttered.

Narcester scratched his head with an aggravated expression on his countenance. "Fuck's sake, Lanxter."

He rubbed his eyes and moved toward the gates. "My wife is still sleeping," he grumbled to himself.

He lazily approached him upfront, his shoulders were sagged down, and he scratched his head as his eyes showed exasperation. "What are you doing here this early? Did you knock?"

Lanxter's brows were pulled together, his forehead creased, "Don't play dumb with me,

Narcester!"

His brows furrowed, and a little while then, he busted with laughter. The giggles slowly faded, he looked at him seriously with an abrupt change of manner and looked at him austerely.

"It's not my fault you feel dumb."

Lanxter's face contorted with rage. Narcester scratched his head and yawned, "If your problem is feeling dumb, don't come to me, go to your parents, they might know the reason." he said, waving his hands at him, signing him to move away.

He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth, he pointed at him as he started yelling, "That is an act of disrespect! You even breached the contract after just two days."

He slightly leaned his back, hoisted his hands skyward as if a criminal under arrest, and sarcastically replied. "Hold up, there. You might stab me with your long nails. I don't even know if you cut them."

"I'm not up for your sarcasm, Narcester!" he yelled.

"Fine, fine." he rolled his eyes.

"Firstly, I don't respect anyone who doesn't earn my respect. Why? I am Narcester Thaddeus and I require respect. You might be older but I'm richer, that's what brings us to the fact that you need me. Respect is earned, Lanxter. It's not expected. I married your daughter, I'll respect her, but I did not marry you to respect you, the contract doesn't even say anything about respecting you. Earn it." he said, those prideful eyes glimmered at him, his chin was raised down as he looked down at him, and his orbs glistened at him. It showed him how he was below him.

His hands trembled with rage, "How dare you!"

"Shhh!" he said, placing his pointing fingers up his mouth. "Shut up, Lobster. I'm not done talking."

Lanxter's face started to look distorted by the flames of wrath he is currently amassing. "Did you just insult me?!"

"What do you think?" he snickered. "Second, it's not a breach of contract, there is no information embedded in your darnass contract of how many years will I invest in your company. It only spoke of how long your daughter is bound in a marriage with me."

Lanxter was speechless, he forgot that detail, Narcester turned his table upside down as he had gotten tight-lipped and wordless.

Narcester stepped close to him, he narrowed the space between his lips and ears as he whispered. "Ever wonder why I'm neglecting your deal with me?"

He cast a sinister chuckle out the air, "The day you married your daughter to me, she is mine. The day you trampled her dignity and killed her slowly inside, you became a target on my kill list."

Lanxter's eyes widened, his eyeballs started to shake with fear, and his knees trembled. He pushed him gently out the boundary between the streets and his house, feigning a smile, "Keep your mouth shut, okay? My wife is still sleeping. You can ask for an appointment with my secretary, Myrto."

He slammed the gate shut, the sound rang through his ears, it awoke Avyanna who was fast asleep as she jolted up from her bed.

She slowly paced to her glass windows to see where the noise came from, closing the space between her window and her, the four creaked open. She jolted in surprise.

"Morning, Avie." Narcester smiled gently at her. The noise must've waked." he said and approached her.

He patted her head and smiled gently at her, "Sorry, some burglar started banging on the gate."

He lifted her face to him, he bent his head downward and gently gave a light peck on her nose and caressed her face. She slightly reddened but all there is to it, she felt very familiar and used to these certain occurrences.

A few hours after Avyanna was left alone in his household, Narcester went to work and the maids were doing their supposed jobs.

A certain knock on her door was heard from inside the room, she stood up from bed and instantly opened it. She saw Mrs. Stawarski with a young child.

She smiled softly. "Good morning, ma'am!" the old woman greeted me.

"Good morning..." she replied with a faint smile.

Mrs. Stawarski scratched her head feeling embarrassed, "I am sorry for the trouble but my granddaughter insisted on being brought here. I hope you won't mind."

Avyanna smiled at the young child, she bent her knees and kneeled on the floor, she softly caressed the young child and smiled, "I've always wanted a sister."

The child smiled back, "Hey, I'm Nafeli Terra, nice to meet you! My grandma is right, you are really beautiful!"

Avyanna giggled, "Such a young child knows how to cover her words with sugar."

She patted the girl's head and stood up, "Feel free to." she smiled.

The hours flew by, and the sound of the gates opening became very irritating to Narcester's ears. He arrived from the company, hoping to have lunch with his wife.

He slammed the door of the car as he walked at an immediate pace. He entered, his eyes glistened to see a sight that had become more beautiful from the sun's reflection.

His lips formed a gentle smile, he started at Avyanna who was reading a story to the young child as he believed it was but a lovely sight.

Avyanna turned her head and looked at him standing there, watching. She placed the girl down and stood up, her eyes startled for a reason she can't convey.

He softly giggled and approached her, he kissed her forehead and glanced at the young child. Avyanna immediately covered up for the thought that he might get angry at having someone inside the house he didn't know.

He chuckled and muttered, "Cute" underneath his breath. He averted his eyes back at her and spoke, "She looks a bit like me don't you think? She might even be qualified as my daughter."

Avyanna looked at his expression, it was tainted with pure intention and affection. Her eyes widened by surprise after a serious tone came up in his voice.

"Let's have a child of our own, Avie."
