As Ash walked closer, more posters were found to be hung up in different locations which showed that the owner had been actively looking for it.

Her brief idea which was usually the only lead she had so far was the owner possibly being behind such an act.

From some crime shows, it was a common theme that those killed were usually killed by someone they knew who were most likely a close relative or lover.

Although it could apply differently to animals, it was still a possible lead to follow when there were no other clues.

Seeing the many posters hung up showed that the owners were actively searching for the Ferret and that they had most likely hung them up in a short amount of time in their attempts to find it quickly before anything bad happened.

The Ferret was most likely found out to be missing some time around the time when Ash found it so they had to spend some time looking around and preparing the posters once they found nothing.
