Asher slept peacefully for hours. He was dreaming about the first time he met his wife. He even smiled briefly. 

She was an angel, the love of his life, the apple of his eyes….

Then he was electrocuted.

Asher first felt the pain on his hip and his eyes flew open instantly but for as long as the shock continued he was rooted to the spot like he was paralyzed. He couldn't say anything or scream as the electrical current passed through his body, leaving him limp and momentarily clueless on how to stop it.

Then it stopped and he lost feelings in his legs and the rest of his body too. His attacker came out to stand over him still holding the taser gun tightly. She moved closer to where his overwhelmed body was and watched his face. Her little brown eyes dimmed considerably.

"Hello! Hello! Who do we have here? Do you want some more or do you want to skedaddle, Mr. Whiny little thief?"
