Ashur was just a boy when he claimed a myth from legend saved his life and drank his water–a crime punishable by death. Bonerunners are not allowed to drink water, in fact no one is. Outcasted by his village for years, Ashur discovers he has special powers only talked about in hushed whispers. But as a looming threat emerges from the Boneyard, will Ashur uncover the mystery behind his powers before it's too late? Or will he fall victim to the same powers of those who came before him?
