-3rd POV-
Yuuka, internally, is questioning herself. 'Christina Frazure... a strange student who suddenly transferred into Millennium. Why am I showing her around?' Yuuka herself doesn't know why she's dragging this new student around.
'It's been 2 minutes, when is she gonna let go?' While Melissa, or rather, Christina is wondering when she can leave. So she let out a sigh which caught Yuuka's attention.
"What's the sigh for?" Yuuka asked politely with a smile. To Christina, the smile seemed off so she let out a cramped smile and a reasonable excuse. "I still don't know where my class is..."
*Stareeeee*
Yuuka stared at Christina deeply and slowly squinted her eyes. She then shrugged, "Follow me, I've been informed about your transfer and what class your in." With that, Yuuka began walking and Christina stood in shock for a second before quickly chasing after Yuuka.
The walk was going to awkward, but none of them wanted that, so they awkwardly began a conversation.
""So um..."" They synced, which caught both of them off guard. ""You first...!" Another sync. To which they made some motions with their hands as they walked then decided Yuuka would start.
"What... are your hobbies?" Yuuka's question was ordinary, and thankfully, Christina wasn't like other protagonists who over think and the such.
"I like mathematics and coming up with new things. Like... oh!" Christina quickly dug through one of her pockets and pulled out a small device. 'I made it a couple minutes after I found myself in this world, but it surprisingly works.' Another strange ability of her body, mechanics.
She pressed it and a round bubble was made around the device. "It's a little barrier device I made with some spare parts." Yuuka looked intrigued and questioned the viability of it.
"How can you tell it works?" To which, Christina smugly replied, "Why don't you try and shoot it then?" For some reason, the smugness couldn't help but irritate the usually calm Yuuka.
"I'll see then." Yuuka quickly quick drew out her firearm that Christina quickly got an eye on and got information regarding it.
'Black SIG-Sauer MPX submachine gun. I'll see the ammo type once she fires. She has two these from what I remember in game. Nicknamed, Logic & Reason.' Christina memorized the gun model and how it looks just from a glance. One of the perks of this strange body.
Christina waited for the shot but it never came, which caused her to raise her head and a eyebrow towards Yuuka. "I thought you were gonna test it?" Yuuka hesitantly held her gun towards the small barrier projector and shook her head while slowly lowering her firearm.
"I'll test it later after class. Also... it feels as though I've known you for a long time. Do you feel the same?" The first part of Yuuka's response made Melissa disappointed, but the latter part gave confusion.
"Well... I feel that we've gotten along great in such a short time, so yeah?" This caused Melissa to tilt her head in a bit of wonder. 'Is this another perk of this girl or is it just my way of acting?'
They then both stopped as Yuuka knocked on the classroom door and opened it. She then explained the situation of Christina being a new student to the robot teacher and then bid farewell to her.
'I'll just find out the more I talk to others.' Christina introduced herself at the front of the class by just saying her name then explaining that she enjoys complex equations and creating new devices. She then sat in her seat and silently listened to the lecture.
Internally however, she was making plans.
'I can help Abydos but I gotta disguise myself. Maybe like one of the Biker Helmet gangs. A simple disguise and weapon change. Ah, after I establish myself in Millennium, I'll make another identity in Trinity. Then I should observe Mika and find out how to get to the Arius school. Once there, I'll have to somehow get Saori and her squad on the good side early.' She began an internal monologue that lasted for the rest of the class.
By the time class ended, Melissa was still thinking of how to confront future problems. 'For making sure no one discovers I am actually two people, I should make a robot or something. I'll join the engineering department and make use of the parts there. I'll also make a change to Aris' future weapon and cut off it's connection to Rio.'
She then felt a tap on her shoulder which cut off her thoughts that lasted for over an hour.
The person who tapper her shoulder had a messy bright orange hair in a bob cut with bangs and a braid styled on her left. Bright red eyes that framed well in her black glasses. She wore a standard uniform, navy blue furry winter coat, a white shirt, and blue tie underneath are loose, an unbuttoned pleated, black skirt tied to straps to hold them and a white socks and black sneakers with blue shoelaces.
"I'm Toyomi Kotori, a first year and member of the engineering department. Yuuka has told me that your interested in making things? Can you tell me more? Like the type of materials you specifically work with, the average amount of time you spend per day on your hobby, what you've made..." She went on and on and Melissa surprisingly enjoyed the aptly nicknamed, 'Walking Encyclopedia'.
This went on for several minutes until she stopped and took a breath. This allowed Christina to give a response. "I'm Frazure Christina, you can call me Chris. I'm a first year and new to this school. I enjoy doing calculations and creating something new here and there. You also said something about a engineering department? Is it possible for me to join? I really like creating things and my budget at home has been..." Chris also went on to talk a lot as well, which left Kotori speechless.
And speechless she was, because just like Christina, she listened onto the constant talking for a minute or two. Then, the talking stopped and surprisingly, a short response.
"I can take you to the engineering department since you seem so excited about it Chris!" Kotori grabbed onto both of Christina's hands with her own and had sparkles in her eyes as she made the offer.
"That'd be great!" Thus, another bond was formed.
