Karl gritted his teeth and tried to control his own anger to pacify his father. 

"There are a lot of things that happen while you're in your slumber. The flora sangria no longer bears children and we are left with the remaining members of the family." 

"No longer bear children?" He asked in a booming voice. "How did that happen?" 

"Father, if I know, I already had fixed it," he said in frustration. 

The information that he had told his father was something that he did not want other family members to know, however, with Louis's outrage, killing three humans and one vampire, a slave of Aznur, he had to do something, even if letting his father know something that he was keeping a lid for a long time.
