The silence of the mansion was like a tomb. The men moved in a synchronized movement, like a well-choreographed dance that had been practiced too many times; they did not have to see the others to know where to go and what to do next.
They moved with precision and ease but with caution. They did not get a clear map of the mansion. Their man inside did not report precisely as discussed.
The leader of the six men signaled the two men on his left to leave the group and moved to the other side while the other two were ordered to take the opposite direction. He was left with one more member and they moved further into the house.
He glanced at the odd-looking watch on his left wrist. He pressed one of the buttons twice to signal their man inside the mansion and to locate his location. He waited for a few seconds to get an answer but he got none, however, he got the location of the other device.
