Chapitre 167: A Blind Corner

Calixto looked at his men and could not help but be proud of his choice. The four men were perusing the blueprint that Theo had brought and now spread on the dining table as they discussed the possibility of where Iris could be.

"Don't gloat like a proud parent. Remember, I was the one who had chosen those men for you."

Calixto glanced over his shoulder and scoffed at love. "Shut up."

Love chuckled and looked at the men, discussing things as if they were going to war.

"I gave you the kind of men that I want."

Love giggled and slapped Calixto's arm. "That doesn't sound right."

Calixto furrowed his eyebrows at her for he did not understand what was so funny for her to giggle like a mischievous child with what he said.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing," she said to Mariano before whispering, "I'll tell you later."
