Chapitre 18: Chapter 17: Media Annoyance
Ryu who is currently still in UA teaching the students the art of blacksmithing. How symmetrical you can make a simple rod without any tri-square or any alignment tools just your good eye and your senses to tell that it's straight. Ryu got his payment for the new titanium armor made for Ingenium and the additional padding and chainmail helps to protect his exposed parts of his armor making him more safer than his previous armor. After teaching his students about other tools and simple tools they can make themselves easily he then gets a call from Nezu and began to tell his students.
"Alright then students, Continue your project while I take this phone call outside the workshop and I'll be right back after this" Ryu then left while the students began to light up and grab their projects from the storage shelve. Ryu then answers the call from nezu about the principal calling him "Mr. Nezu what is it?" asking the principal "Mr. Ryu did you check social media news or anything?" he asked Ryu about it "I'm not into social media Mr. Nezu and you know how annoying the media can get" he told Nezu "then why did some talk shows talked about you and Ingenium testing out armors?" he told nezu making Ryu on the other side of the call eyes widen in shock "Wait what!?, Hold on! I did not post myself on this did anyone saw us while we're testing because I didn't expect students passing by that area" he said "well probably some students recorded a video and took photos from afar" he explained about the video and photos sent in social media "Also be happy about it you will get more clients thanks to that unexpected fame" he told Ryu which made him annoyed
Since he's fine with slow and few clients but thanks to this this will cause more problems which means the demand will increase and he's only one man in the operation. Which may cause some sleep problems, time management issues, and no time for breaks and clients ranting about his slow service.
"You know I have to manage myself also I can't keep up the demand since I'm the only one who have this quirk" he said as Nezu knew what he means "It's fine Mr. Muramasa but someday you may find the right person to pass down your skills to keep the art alive" then he end his call and return to his class to observe and guide his fellow students properly.
Afternoon after class,
After a while, he then starts to pack up his bags full of tools and parts of the equipment and left the premesis of his school as soon he almost reach the gates of the school he was beraded by reporters and media influencers. Which he was pissed about the reason he hates the media is the barrage of reporters, paparazzi, and social media influencers constantly harassing his personal space. He dashed out of the school reach to his truck and starts his car and left while the media still trying to catch up to him. He then breaths a sigh of relief as he did a maneuver in different routes to shake the media loose.
Muramasa Residence night,
It was night and he is currently cooking for his meals and listening to the news. He then heard about the release of Ingenium's new armor which is connected at the video and photos posted into social media. As he finished cooking he sets up his meal in the table as he was looking at the news. Still some news about villain activity still rising up a bit and with the usual hero battles, raids, and final the showbiz, then they show a video of both him and Ingenium testing out armors. As the cast began to debate about who he is until the original poster had description about him that he is a guest teacher teaching blacksmithing.
"So your telling me that this guy is a Blacksmith what a joke those will break someday" a cast member said with biased opinions "Nope he is the same blacksmith who created the top heroes equipment remember Hawk's with his swords Yoroi Musha's katana and Ryukuyu's armor and now recently Ingenium's armor the poster said its him the guy who created those Items" as one of them explains "So your saying this guy is responsible of those creations. Well then why didn't he joined up as a support gear maker then? Why is he just a Blacksmith then huh? " as one of them still spat bias opinions.
Ryu was kind of pissed about that people think it's a waste of time and scam. People in this day and age now think quirks are everything but instead there biased about reviving and keeping types of dying arts until a person with common sense and a historian of Japan who is a guest in the show began to speak up.
"Well since I have some connections to other historians and museum owners I knew who he was" he said as the cast members looked at him "Well then who is he then?" one of them asked "His name is Ryu Muramasa and he is one of the few blacksmiths who restore and recreate out items from history for our research and display for museums to see what it looked like many years ago his father was one of them and his son which is him took the mantle to recreate these said creations and now he gets commissions with heroes took me by surprise since his quirk is very convenient for this" he explained as he mentioned his quirk. "Tell us what his quirk and what it can do?" he asked the historian guest "His quirk can embed anyone's quirk with his creations he can make anything he create by his hand can embed anyone's quirk" he explained as everyone in the cast were shocked about this even the one who is biased about him.
Morning UA smithing workshop,
After watching the news he is currently preparing his work as he was finished sketching earlier for Nejire's armlets. He is now doing some preparations as he is replacing parts of each machine to prepare them for class. Some of the students are getting used of the machine and they were using them with difficulty. Until the media began to catch wind where he is and many tried to catch him for questions but thanks to some of the staff or the teachers of UA intervene and Ryu escaped easily and continues his work.
