When I awoke the world around me was different. There was a giant statue of what seemed like a clown or a jester, but besides that it was darkness, the statue was the only thing in this place. As I was still trying to wrap my head around where I was a new system messages appeired.

As I was reading the messages the statue's eyes started glowing a soft blue.
"Inheritor of my legacy, you shall rekindle the seed of fear I sought so hard to instill into the people of this world." and as it spoke the space around it started to react, as if only its words were enough to destroy the area around it.
"Bring glory back to our people, the mighty Jokers."
"Why me!" I tried asking but silence was all I got.
A few seconds passed in silence and as I was about to ask another question I felt a pulling sensation and I was back to where I started. The same two prompts appeired but this time accompanied by a start button. The first two buttons were grayed out so the only choice left was to start the game.
Once I pressed it I felt the same pulling sensation and I appeired in the middle of what seemed like a town. It was huge but in the perspective of the game world it was a small town. It was the starter village everyone first started at.
It had good farming zones and a few field bosses that the big guilds would capitalize on. As someone who did his research on the game beforehand I opened up my status window.
