Chapitre 1: The Order
It was 10 in the morning, the MJ advertising agency main building 6th floor the CEO office me standing in front of the desk waiting for the man to speak up. Being the main creative head of agency Mr.Jay Jackson, the CEO have high hopes for me.
By the way, I am KM Jennifer, a 23-year-old single female working in the most loved profession for the past 2 years. Although being a girl I always preferred to be as boyish as I can be thinking that it would build my confidence and it did. With such an attitude I have been able to reach the stage of taking up the important projects of my company. And I am totally happy with it being a workaholic staying away from social life and dedicating it to my company affairs and it is one of the reasons why Mr. Jay likes me.
"Jenn, are you there?" Mr.Jay spoke up.
"Yes, sir!"
"Hmm..." with a stressed sigh he said "I am sorry but you have to take charge"
I know what he was saying. About a month ago "Jenn, Mr.Jay is calling you" Susan, my best friend also the manager of this agency.
"What is it this time?" I asked knowing that he would call me only if there are any mistakes in the projects
"Don't know but he seems tensed?" Susan said with a dazed expression
"Don't worry, I will take care" and I reached his office thinking why he called me when there were none major projects to deal
"Finally, you are here" he spoke breaking me from my thoughts
"Yes, sir "I spoke as soft as I could knowing that he is tensed
"You know that we have recently collaborated with SG music entertainment and now they have signed an international contract. You know the famous BTS...."
Before he could finish I choked the coffee I was drinking and immediately spoke " If it's BTS that we are working with then I am so sorry sir I really can't take this project"
He was shocked because this was the first I rejected a project. Thinking I am uncomfortable he understood and said" Fine, then I will see someone else for it "
....[Present]
"Jenn, you have to do it "
"But..."
"I really can't find a member as capable as you. You know this is an important project to prove our trust in SG music entertainment. I can only depend on you"
" I am sorry, Mr.Jay" as I was about to leave the words shook me up
"It's my order, Ms.KM Jennifer "
After working in the MJ agency for the whole two years it's my first time seeing Mr.Jay with so much temper.
I understood that this project is a great opportunity for him to show his skills even in the music industry so I couldn't do anything but to agree with him. And of course, I was a bit scared by his mood that I never encountered
"Fine, if you want me to do it then I will. If there's nothing else I'll take my leave" and left without his permission scared he would lecture.
After reaching my desk my thoughts flowed remembering the days that happened two years ago not wanting to make them come in front of me
"Why me? Why this agency? Why this country? Why this world?" With all stupid questions revolving on my mind, I forgot that I have a lot of work to do as the famous group that I don't want to work with is coming the very next week.
"Jenn, it's almost time are you coming home?" asked Susan who is also my flat-mate.
"I think I have to work more, I'll see you later, "I said my eyes stocked to my laptop
"Fine, but be back soon " she left with a mesmerizing smile on her face making her even more stunning.
She was the most beautiful lady in the whole MJ agency and her bossy like attitude makes her a devil-like angel to love her more and more. If I was a boy I would have made her mine forever.
But now my major problem was to deal with the group more appropriately with a single person from the group that I didn't want to see throughout my life.
As I was about to start my research on this 'the famous BTS' a phone call interrupted. It was from Mr.Jay " Jenn, I hope you can do this project with a little more concern than the other projects that would definitely make me happy"
" I will try my best Mr. Jay"
" I hope so. Meet me sharp at 9:00 am tomorrow. We have a lot to discuss" he said and hang up before I could say anything.
"Fine, as I have accepted this I will show them who is Jenn" murmured although knowing it was all just to build my confidence.
I have spent all night knowing more and more about BTS without recognizing it was almost 5:00 in the morning.
