Chapitre 7: Treasure Scout Market
Soon after Xiao Yang had lunch he told Aunt Shuyao that he would be exploring around to get used to the area, however the place Xiao Yang arrived is 'The Treasure Scout Market', the market is bustling with merchants and buyers, their exchanges of negotiation can be easily heard. Prices varies a lot, most of the time the merchant decides it at the spot based on your look and what you wear.
Xiao Yang scouted around the market with his 'Everything is Priced' ability to search for valuable treasure, he planed to sell it or auction it and use the money to donate to charity to see if he can receive any influence points. As he got deeper and deeper into the market he paused, one of the merchant who sat on the floor with just an red blanked underneath had his goods scattered on it. There is varies artefacts from ancient flower pots to mini pagoda, however what caught Xiao Yang's attention was the ancient plate which it seems that the merchant is using it as just an money holder. The plate has 3 yellow ancient Chinese dragons carved on it's front with an ancient red seal stamped in the middle.
The still active ability shows that the plate is worth ¥400k, Xiao Yang couldn't believe his eyes and his jaws almost came dropping out, but he must remain calm and don't give out any suspicious signs that indicates its valuable.
"Hey boss, how much is that plate of yours?" Xiao Yang calmly asked.
"¥10k"
"Come on boss the plate is being used as an money holder, I just want to buy it cause it look nice"
"fine 1k"
"Boss, I'll take it for ¥300"
"¥500 take it or leave it"
"Deal!"
The merchant's now smirking face indicated that he thinks Xiao Yang is dumb for actually agreeing on that deal, however Xiao Yang knows clearly that spending all of his money on this plate was worth it as it was an true treasure, he took a while to search around on his phone until he found an auction house that is close by to his location.
