It is necessary that way for other characters to be in the picture too because their plot is heavily interlinked to Xinyi and Zhiyuan due to the past. Xinyi, Zhiyuan, Caihong, Xiaosi, Yunru, Shuang and Zizi - all are interconnected in a web and their actions affect everything. So all need to be in focus.
