All the council members appeared to be ashamed and embarrassed, and Maverick squeezed my hand to tell me not to talk about the things that hurt me. 

I was fine. I honestly was. But just because they were some kind of authority, I wasn't going to trample on my man in the name of some hypocritical, sick rules. 

"You know what? You need to upgrade your system, but more than that, you need to clean up your hypocritical thoughts. Let me warn you," I paused and looked at them seriously. 

"Apart from the council, my team will separately conduct research on this incident, and if I find out Alpha Tyler was involved, I am going to ruin him in the worst way possible. Please have a meeting and decide the punishment for that in advance," I said before looking at my man.
