Chapitre 149: The mysterious man from months ago

THIRD PERSON'S POV

The man on the hospital bed glared at the doctor who was about to give him anesthesia and asked him to treat him without the drug.

"Are you sure about it?" The doctor asked and he hummed.

He kept looking at the ceiling while thinking about the girl he met.

Once the treatment was done, he didn't waste a second in standing and calling his men.

"Yes, sir," The man immediately asked and the guy licked his bottom lip thoughtfully.

"I found her," The man said and his subordinate paused for a few seconds.

"In the coral regions? But wasn't she rumored to be seen in the -"

"That doesn't matter. Luckily, I was still wearing my mask. But, how she looked into my eyes, do you think she could've caught me? She found out it was me who she saved all those months ago?" The man asked.

The subordinate didn't say anything.
