Tao Jun woke up with a blinding headache, as her eyelids slowly lifted up to reveal where she was, everywhere looked blurry in the semi dark place where she was held.

The usual sharp mind was slow to remember what happened prior to her being where she was held in a chair of pale brown wood, securely tied to it with a braided hemp rope, while her mouth was taped shut.

"Ms Jun, took you this long to wake up."

The pleasant gentlemanly tone ringed bells into the young lawyer's brain, along with it came alarm at what was to come. She couldn't speak even if she wanted to, not that she had anything good to say to the man that held her against her will.
