Synopsis
Some exist with pride, others struggle with pride, some compete with pride, and there are those who fail with pride, but very few can walk away with pride.
Congratulations, for as you read these lines, you have witnessed the whole lives of many great basketball players.
This pronunciation was embodied when Stephen Curry, after facing defeat in 2021, claimed that no one would want to face them the following season; When Tim Duncan was convinced before the start of the 2014 Finals that they would not mess up; When Kobe Bryant promised at Old Buss's memorial to take the Lakers to the playoffs; When Nowitzki, shedding his label as a soft player, retreated to the locker room in tears at night; When Kevin Garnett let out a skyward howl after holding the championship trophy; When the 2004 Detroit Pistons won and the F4 Lakers lost…
Our story begins in an era when pride still mattered.

Écrire un avisEntertaining sports Novel. Really appreciating all the news updates and interviews which provide more insight and background to the story. Would like to see more character building and introduce 1 or 2 more characters to interact with MC. Flesh out MCs life outside the NBA and add a Friend that can go with him or increase Lawson and others roles. Since MC is from the Future have him talk to management about a couple of draft picks(1 or 2 allstars and role players). Hope to see 1 of his teammates from ABCD camp to get drafted to his team and he starts to develop his friendship with Brandon Roy, Iguodala and other nba players.
It’s pretty good! I had my misgivings at first, but the translation quality is a lot better than usual and the author is really knowledgeable about the nba. There are some strange/ignorant wording when it comes to black people and culture, but I’ll just chalk that up to cultural differences lol. After the first couple of chapters, these mostly disappear. This story is different than usual sports novels as it jumps to the pro league pretty quickly. I found this a breath of fresh air tbh, and I think the author handled the transition and the rookie season well. A word of warning, be ready for the MC to talk trash to anyone and everyone cause he does not care lol. The trash talk often introduced the funniest moments, so I enjoyed them lol. I’m really looking forward to seeing where the author brings this story. They mentioned that they have another story similar to this about the MJ bulls, I tried finding it online but didn’t have any luck. Does anyone know where I can find it?
