Chapitre 38: CHAPTER 26 - LOVE, HATRED AND EMOTIONS (2)
Kay is currently resting at a garden. He just finished his meeting with the other factions and the results are not great or pretty much what's he expected. Since, the order to ceasefire has been permitted by Kay and Nagato for two weeks starting this day, most Eagle Union girls are declined to accept it.
But, the order is an order and how much resistant they gave, it's useless and the ceasefire between these factions will be followed as he permitted.
"Why we need to have a ceasefire with them, commander?", asked Washington. "They are pretty much weaker right now and it's an obvious reason for us to attack them at Sakura Empire."
"So, why we still here?"
"We have no reason to have a ceasefire between them, commander", said Minneapolis. "Before you came, we always being targeted by Crimson Axis no matter how hard we tried to pull off. We become weaker and they being more aggressive toward us."
"Now you ask us to stay quiet, commander?"
Kay can heard several unpleasant noises from Eagle Union, constantly rejecting the order to ceasefire. In fact, someone already saying something bad to him although Kay quite calm and just let them talking trash to him.
"Everyone, please calm down for a moment", said Wales. "I'm sure commander has his own plan and why he decides to do so. We can hear directly from him."
"May I ask your reason, commander?", asked Queen Elizabeth.
It's definitely took some time for Kay to give his reason and he starts to feel frustrating and uncomfortable.
"If you want my reason, it's pretty simple. I'm waiting for a perfect moment", said Kay.
"Then, attacking them now are not a perfect moment for you, commander?", asked Washington.
"They might be much weaker right now, but we are also have the same fate with them", responded Kay. "Enterprise still unconscious, we lost half our fleet from that mission and probably need some weeks to recover and not to mention that we gain nothing from the last battle."
"That's a coward reason, commander", said Washington.
"Yeah, said the girl who just get deceive by their proposal", said Kay. "If my memories serve right, your faction are begging me to accept their request for head to head battle."
"Now, what's your result? Nothing...you gain nothing from that battle."
"Not only you failed to defeat them, you just let them deceived you by sending the fleets to unknown location."
"We can defeat them if you didn't stop us, commander", said Minneapolis. "We already have the advantages that night thanks to Enterprise. You're the reason why we failed..."
"I save you from that place! That's a mirror sea from what I have been told and that place is almost to be destroyed", said Kay angrily. "You might be stuck there forever."
"You should be grateful that I managed to destroy it before it's too late."
"We didn't need your help, commander", said Washington. "Enterprise can help us."
"Yeah...by killing you all", said Kay. "I guess that help me reduce the main problem here."
Kay already gave the order to ceasefire and he will takes no nonsense from them. His order will be proceed as he intends for. No matter how hard they tried, Kay stands with the order and nobody can forces him to change it.
The decision might increase the flame of hatred between Kay and Eagle Union. However, they knew that they have no choice but to accept. They admit that Kay is far more stronger than the entire fleet at Azur Lane and trying to do against him may not a best idea to carry on.
They also acknowledged Kay for his strength to protect Azur Lane. That is the only reason why Azur Lane still exist and standing still even being constantly attacked by Crimson Axis nor sirens.
However, they can't understand his reason and the judgement he made when fighting against the enemies. Nothing much changed for the past three months since his arrival starting to make most of the Eagle Union become uneasy.
"Then, how about those girls, commander?", asked Minneapolis. "Those girls are our enemies."
"They are my guest and I have my own reason", said Kay. "And if you scared that they might done something, you totally wrong."
"There are only four of them here. What do you think they can do?"
The room become silent as Kay wants to hear their answer. Ayanami, Shoukaku, Zuikaku and Z23 are his guest and he already told them to not do something to them unless they dare to face the consequences.
"We are leaving, commander", said Washington. "We will accept your order but that don't think we totally agreed with your reason."
"If Enterprise heard this, she will be mad at you, commander."
As they walking toward the door, leaving mostly Royal Navy alone with Kay, he starts to say something to them.
"I'm starting to think, whether you are worthy for my protection, Eagle Union", said Kay. "Don't let me, starting to lose my trust at you...just because most of you don't obey my orders."
"Let me tell you that I still have my patience since someone from your faction always supported me from the first day I came here."
"Believe me, that's the last thing you want, Eagle Union."

Kay relieves a deep sighed as he tries to remember the reason why they starting to hate him. He never treated any girls poorly or mistreated them. He never sent them in suicide mission. In fact, he never discriminate anyone.
"Tea for you, master", said Belfast while giving him a cup of tea.
"Thank you, Belfast", said Kay as he staring at the girls who still in the meeting room. Most of them are from Royal Navy although he saw Cleveland, Montpelier, Essex and the Eagle Union who always support him.
"Now, I wonder why you still supports me, Royal Navy", said Kay. "Is there any reason?"
Poke...poke...poke...
"Is not good to ask maidens about their loyalty, master", said Belfast while poking his cheek. "You don't have to worry, master. We always loyal to you."
"Belfast is right, commander", said Wales. "We knew you're the right person to lead us. We always waiting for someone to guide us."
"My judgement is always correct, commander", said Queen Elizabeth proudly. "I will never let anyone to lead me if they are not strong enough. Although, I really hope you will become more friendly since you're very hard to approach."
Kay is giggles and laughed a little bit upon hearing her last sentences. He already felt the truths behind their words. They told him without any lies and that's more than enough for him.
"Master, is there something wrong?", asked Belfast when she saw Kay is gazing at the window, looking at the scenery.
"Do you think I just waiting for a perfect moment?", asked Kay in serious expressions.
"What do you mean by that, commander?", asked Wales.
Kay already knew that Sakura Empire is already weaken. Sakura Empire already losing too much battles when fighting against Azur Lane and it's very obvious to strike them now. With mass producing sirens already betraying them and the missing Akagi only added more reason to attack them.
However, it's so obvious and Kay already felt someone already predicted this event. They are waiting for Azur Lane to take the bait, just as before.
"Ability to read the future", said Kay. "Someone always called that ability as 'prescience' or 'precognition', the one who see the future vision."
"Are you saying the high-class sirens have that ability, commander?". asked Queen Elizabeth. "If that's true, there is no way for us to win."
"Nah...it just a guess", said Kay. "But, if it true...they pick a wrong person."
Kay suddenly get up from his chair and starts walking toward the door.
"I probably make a mistake by letting you girls went to that battle", said Kay. "But, I never make same mistake twice. This time, I will decided the order by myself."
"Nobody will forced me to change it. Either they like or not, that's not my concern."
"After all, I already promised myself to protect you."

"He left", said Cleveland.
"Yes, he definitely left us with some encouragement", said Wales.
"After all, I already promised myself to protect you...aren't that words are very 'hot'...", said Essex while mimicking his words. "Now, I really want to follow him more."
"I told you our commander has his own plan", said Queen Elizabeth. "Which one that brave enough to say our commander is a coward?"
"You're right, my majesty", said Warpsite while praising Queen Elizabeth. "Those girls are definitely blind and don't see our commander just liked you did, my majesty."
While most of the girls are busy praising and talking about their commander, Belfast is trying to think something. Since she ignoring the other quite a while, Wales tries to talk to her.
"Is there something wrong, Belfast?", asked Wales.
"I just thinking that my master is something very hard to approach for some girls", said Belfast. "For us, we may no realized it, but for some girls...they thought my master is somewhat scarier, especially for children."
"And I have an idea."
"Can we heard it?", asked most of the girls, eavesdropping Belfast and Wales conservation.
"I see...that's a good idea..."
"Can we do that...I mean, he definitely reject that idea..."
As they are busy discussion with each others, they don't realize that someone already open the door. It's Kay and he decides to come back because he forgot to tell them a message.
"Sorry girls, I forget to tell...", said Kay as he looking at these girls. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing!!", shouted all of them.
"Well, it doesn't matter", said Kay. "You get one week rest starting today and I already make a schedule for the girls to get at least enough rest. So, enjoy your holiday."

Poke...poke...poke...
Kay wakes up when he realized someone poking his faces and starting to pinch it. He thought it was Belfast since she is the only girl who liked to poke his face. But, it was Javelin and Laffey.
"What are you doing, Javelin, Laffey?", asked Kay.
"Nothing much, commander", said Javelin. "We just see you sleeping here and...we want to ask you to play with us."
"Commander, sleepy...Laffey also want to sleep", said Laffey while trying to slip on Kay 's lap.
"Ayanami also want to sleep, desu", said Ayanami.
As both of them are trying to sleep, someone starts shouting at them, trying to wake them two.
"Wake up! Both of you!!", shouted Z23. "We already made a promise to play with Unicorn this time. My goodness, what I am doing right now?"
Unicorn slowly comes toward Kay and asking him to play with them.
"Do you want to play with us, onii-chan", asked Unicorn politely.
Kay tries to say he is busy and has not enough time to play with her. However, he remembers that he barely plays with her for the past several weeks. He also made a promise with Unicorn which of course, he forget about that.
"Well, why not...I can play with you, Unicorn", said Kay.
"Thank you, onii-chan", said Unicorn happily. She seems pretty happy, making Kay forget about his problems for a moment.
Kay just wakes up so he barely trying to analyze the situation. He realized that he is currently fell asleep in the garden, far from the main building. He can see the sea, quite beautiful and the garden is surrounding with beautiful flowers.
"Do you just finished your date, kommandatin?", asked Z23. "I guess you're quite free."
"Wait...what are you talking about?", asked Kay.
Z23 pointed her finger at a certain girl that sleeping behind him. It's Zuikaku, sleeping comfortably while holding Kay 's hand. It takes several seconds for Kay to realize it.
"She really sleeping liked no tomorrow", said Z23, talking about Zuikaku.
Ayanami, Laffey, Javelin, Z23 and Unicorn are looking at Zuikaku that still sleeping. Some people might say, a girl looks cute when sleeping. Looking very defenseless, making someone wants to protect her.
"Miss Zuikaku...holding commander's hand. Laffey...wants too", said Laffey.
"Don't disturb them, Laffey", said Z23. "Come on, Unicorn. We will play with you there. Commander will following us later."
Z23 grabs Unicorn 's hand and bring her far away from Kay and Zuikaku. Javelin who is still energetic, brings Laffey and Ayanami with her. They are going straight toward Z23 and Unicorn.
Kay stares at Zuikaku, wondering why he unable to detect her present before she managed to sleep behind him. Kay probably too tired which might the reason why he didn't realize it. Or, Zuikaku has no intention to harm him, in fact, she might looking for him when he slept.
Since Zuikaku is sleeping very soundly, Kay decides to let her holding his hand. He rubs her hairs and then, poke her cheek. He definitely can heard Zuikaku making a little noises when he deliberately poking her.
Poke...poke...poke...
"I guess girl can be pretty cute when sleeping", said Kay while looking his surroundings, making sure Belfast or Wales is not here. "Now, that sword looks pretty familiar to me."
Kay is looking at the swords that are leaning against the tree. His sword and Zuikaku 's katana, have different element but using by different people.
"Now I finally remember", said Kay. "I forget my sword after saving her. When I tried to return it, I completely forget thanks to these problems."
Kay activates his element and raises his arm. Several lightnings came out from his hand and attracts the swords liked a magnet.
"If my memories correct, Zuikaku is fire type...so, why I can only sense my element", asked Kay. "Rakurai...are you still rejecting her?".
Rakurai glows and sparks several lightning, making Zuikaku wakes up. She slowly open her eyes and looking at Kay, half-asleep.
"Good morning, sleepy girl", said Kay. "So, how much longer you want to hold my hand."
Zuikaku tilted her head little bit, probably because she still half-awake. A few seconds later, her face turns red.
"I...I...I'm sorry", said Zuikaku. "I see you sleeping here and I suddenly felt sleepy when watching you."
"Well, I don't mind", said Kay. "So, is there any reason for you to see me here, Zuikaku?"
Before Zuikaku manages to answer his question, they heard someone shouting at them. Javelin is calling their names several times, asking Kay and Zuikaku to join the others.
"Commander! Miss Zuikaku! Come play with us, quickly!", shouted Javelin.
Kay relieves a deep breath and starting to get up. Then he reached out his hand towards Zuikaku.
"Let's go, Zuikaku", said Kay.
Zuikaku slowly takes his hand, still feeling embarrassed but she manages to calm herself. Then, both of them are walking toward the children and playing with them, until sunset.

Sakura Empire, at the sacred tree.
"What the meaning of this, Nagato-sama?", asked Kaga furiously. "Why we are stopping all Orochi operation?"
Kaga suddenly barged in and asking Nagato directly. She pretty mad upon hearing the news about Orochi. She still badly injured but she doesn't care.
The others who are in the meeting were very surprised seeing Kaga, furiously asking Nagato with no ethic and impolite. Kawakaze is staring at her, ready to draw her sword if Kaga making any moves toward Nagato.
"I see you still alive, Kaga", said Nagato. "About your question, it's pretty obvious. Orochi is useless for us."
"Nonsense!! Orochi helps us many times, Nagato-sama!", shouted Kaga.
"Then, why the mass produced sirens attacked my girls?", asked Nagato.
"That human did it!!", shouted Kaga. "Not only he embarrassing me, he also looking down at me...looking down at us!"
"And these girls did nothing! Letting him go!".
"I have been told by them, that human help them to leave the mirror sea", said Nagato. "So, are you saying these girls lying to me, Kaga?"
Hiryuu, Souryuu, Takao and Atago told Nagato, what's happening in the mirror sea. They already told them the truth, leaving nothing to hide.
"We need Orochi to win, Nagato-sama!", shouted Kaga.
"My order is absolute, Kaga!", shouted Nagato, starting to lose her patience. "Take a rest, Kaga. Your missing sister probably made you losing to yourself."

Several minutes later, they continue their meeting.
"What do you think about that human, Takao?", asked Nagato.
"I already confront him several times with Zuikaku", said Takao. "He is very strong, fast and quick reflexes. When I fight against him, he never withdraw his sword. He only using his hand."
"That human is using the same technique against Kawakaze", said Nagato.
Kawakaze doesn't want to remember the day that Kay grabs her and tossed towards the tree.
"Is he looking down at us?", asked Nagato.
"Well...I remember he said, 'I don't come here to fight you'. In my eyes, he never thought us as his enemies", said Atago.
"Now you said that, aren't he just let us retreat during the battle at the fallen city", said Takao.
"Explain to me, Takao", ordered Nagato.
"He easily destroyed all the mass produced sirens by himself, only leaving us alive", said Takao. "We thought he will captured us but...he just let us go."
"Same thing happens when we fought against Eagle Union!", said Atago. "He suddenly came out of nowhere and said to Akagi, asking her to retreat or face him."
"And, same thing as he does in the mirror sea", said Nagato. "That human is letting you to flee even though he has a chance to defeat the fleets."
"He said he has another priority", said Souryuu.
Nagato remains silent for a moment, trying to understand his motives. So far, his actions didn't reflect as the commander of Azur Lane.
"Did he said something liked a chant before activates his abilities?", asked Nagato.
"............."
"Never mind, ignore that", said Nagato.
Nagato looks at spear, waving the Azur Lane flag in front of the sacred tree. So far, nobody is strong enough to pull it out. Therefore, they had no choice but to let it. Although, it's definitely making their sight hurt.
"...Order all girls to get enough rest", said Nagato. "We have two weeks before the ceasefire ended. Until then, we will wait."
