“Young Master, if I may ask.”
Kanl began.
“About the grimoire? You’re wondering where I got it from, aren’t you?”
Arias carefully checked the money he got from Kanl and smiled when he found that the amount was as much as three million Crystal Coins. Though, a part of him was thinking that it might be more convenient if they’d come in the form of Diamond Coins instead.
“No, Sir. I know you must have your ways of finding it. I’m only curious why you didn’t bring the grimoire to the duke yourself. The duke would still give you the money reward anyway. And if you brought it to him yourself, you would gain favor with him as well.”
Kanl didn’t really understand what Arias was thinking this time. But while it made him feel rather ridiculous to have to disguise himself as a wandering mage and sell the grimoire to the duke, he still did everything according to Arias’ plan anyway.
