Arias stared coldly at the guard who had fallen on his butt, murderous intent exuding from his body without any restraint. He still did not want to start an unnecessary war with the Hargen family, or else this guard who dared intimidate him with his sword would have had his arm cut off--or perhaps his head.
“Is this how the Scarcia clan welcomes people who’ve come to help them, Farhan?”
Nesto did not seem to be angry, which Arias thought was a little surprising. He only turned to Farhan with a smile and a sarcastic remark. But Arias could see that the man was not letting go of that dimensional ring. Instead, he just kept it without seeming to feel any shame. Nesto acted like a hyena, arriving after the end of a fight and taking whatever he could. Arias could not tell if his arrival after the battle had ended was a coincidence or intentional.
“My grandson is just a little hot-headed. You know how young people are.”
