Kong was wise, for he, unlike other gang leaders, had taken Ethan's warnings seriously and acted accordingly. On the day of Desper's cleansing, the man had ordered most of his people to scatter, taking with them hundreds of contraband items belonging to the gang.

These items included the Mech-like suits and pieces of armor Kenny made, hundreds of thousands of beast crystals, hides, claws, teeth, and various other items, along with a few cases of Mutagen, which could have landed him in serious legal trouble.

Because of this, Desper's Police barely confiscated anything from the Gorilla base, simplifying the work for those responsible for clearing out the building.
