He proceeds towards the shrine, and with every step, he can feel his feet refusing to walk further; the fear of getting punished is stopping him from walking any further, but he has no choice but to go to his father.

Maris takes a deep breath before reaching out for the bell, grabs it, gives it a little shake, and it makes the sound, of the owls sleeping beside the shrine hooting and staring back at him. He calmly places the bell on the side and looks around, surrounded by the owls.

The owls hooted at him, but in a split second, he vanished into a dark room filled with smoke. He tried to keep calm and walked forward towards the light shining down at him.
