I knew Drake hated the thought of me even considering an abortion. The disappointment, the anger—it was all there beneath the surface, just waiting to explode. I didn't blame him for it, but I wasn't ready for this child. I didn't feel capable, and every time I imagined myself as a mother, I felt nothing but dread.
