Chapitre 15: Conquering the Earth Kingdom
One by one, the legions of the earth kingdom, fell, their fortresses would either be destroyed, or taken over for the night and than destroyed in the morning, so their not used aganst them later on...
open combat like a plain is more suited to a fire bender, while enclosed areas were more suited to an earth bender... it was basic sense, as they would be surrounded by their element, earth.
at any rate, it required great effort for me, to destroy a fortress, after what was the point, when they could simply bring down the walls of the fortress and walk right in? it was more suitable to camp near a river bank, or a plain.
so as it were... we did so....
this was when we finally arrived at my uncle's camp... and a massive beast was being chained down in front of me....
it was a dragon... and it was massive... at least 15 meters long and very wide, with its large horns... i saw my uncle in front of the dragon, contemplating what to do with it seems....
he was stroking his beard, and was in deep thougth, as the dragon squrimed underneath the chains of his men... it would breath out large gushes of orange flames, when a group of fire benders would come over and redirect the flames to the sky...
seeing us arrive... along with the legion, Iroe, smiled towards his niefew, and welcomed me with open arms... while every other soldier, knew the dangers of coming over the land like so, with was rather rough, barren, and dangerous, full of beasts, and enemies from the earth nation....
sp thos shpwed my ability to deal with threats, and command my troops despite my young age... so their eyes were full of respect, and pity...
Iroe's eyes seemed to be full of despair, at my pressence, not because i didnt make it, but because of the war i involved in.
as such... he gave me a large hug... and held me close... he had also lost his son recently, and was no doubt contemplating whether to retreat... but he couldnt... due to the current events back home...
.he wondered what could change with his pressence, but already knew of how he had the power to destroy fortresses.... so tommorrow was likely going to be a bloody day.
*SCREE*
we both looked towards the chained down dragon.... and i walked up to it, and just as it was about to bite me, it stopped for some unknown reason.... and looked into my eyes...
"release her." it was a female dragon just call it instinct...
they did so, immeadiatly, and it didnt thrash or anything of the sort... she just continued to look into my eyes... and i stretched out my hand... touching her snout...
it breathed in a mighty breath... than breathed out... mightily...
"i shall name you...-"

we all know iroe found faught, and released the dragon, but what if, it went to our MC instead? muahaha
as such its simply the right time, right place... not forced at all >.> muahaha
