James watched as the harpy matriarch flailed in the air, her once-commanding presence now reduced to desperation. The blast of his dragon energy had severely weakened her, but she wasn't finished yet. With a feral scream, she managed to steady herself, her wings beating heavily as she hovered above, snarling at James and the Dragonkin below.

"We've got her on the ropes!" Pippy shouted, her eyes gleaming with adrenaline as she slashed another harpy out of the air. "Finish her off, James!"

James, however, knew it wasn't going to be that simple. The matriarch wasn't just a brute, she was smart, and she wouldn't go down without taking some of them with her. The harpy queen let out a piercing shriek, and the remaining harpies suddenly regrouped, forming a defensive circle around her. They screeched in unison, eyes glowing as they prepared for a final assault.
