Chapitre 1: BROKEN TRUST
It's late 1944 and Nazi Germany is coming to an end.
In a meeting in June 1944 with the Western Allies and the Soviet Union, it had been agreed that the SOVIET UNION would allow a free government in Poland and other nations in Eastern Europe.
But by September 1944 it was realized that the Soviet Union had no plan on a free Eastern Europe.
The fear was that at wars end in Europe, American forces would be sent to defeat the Japanese Empire only leaving a stretched our British force.
The fear was of a Soviet advance across Western Europe . Pushing Great Britain back to its Island nation.
So on August 12 1944 a plan was made for the invasion of the controlled areas that the Soviet Union had and push the Red Army back pass Moscow.
The plan was set for June 1 1945 with the re arm of nearly 150,000 German troops who were POWs in the United States and Great Britain.
The new German army would attack the Southern park of Germany were the Soviet Union had a smaller advance units of around 45,000.
The American 7th Army would push east to Berlin with help of the British 8th tank division. Berlin needed to be taken withen 2 days.
BRITISH 7th Army would advance along the coast with help of both Britaish and American Navy s covering the rear.
Western air forces would be able to stop all Soviet supplies and be able to stop the Soviet 11th Army.
As Berlin is taken by the Allies a cease fire would be offered to the Soviet government .
If the government of the Soviet Union refuses, the United States would drop a nuclear bomb on Linnengrad.
A second bomb would hit Moscow two days later if there was no Soviet surrender .
