Redania, named after Roeden, is a wealthy kingdom that benefits from trade and agriculture and is one of the Four Kingdoms. The capital of this kingdom is Tretogor. Other important cities are Oxenfurt, with the largest university in the Northern Kingdoms, and the free city of Novigrad. The kingdom's neighbors are Kovir, Caingorm, Kaedwen, Aedirn, and Temeria.
As in most kingdoms, the upper class has privileges, but unlike their neighbors, the cult of nobility is much more important in Redania, which means that their privileges are all the more important. But Redanian law is more concerned with birth than property. A well-born beggar is the equal of the richest tycoon. The peasants are deriving their fortunes from cereals. The peasantry is much less well treated than in other countries. Only the strength of the king prevents the peasants from revolting.
The Redania also believes a lot in magic. She lets herself be influenced by witches and wizards. Witches advise all the kings of Redania, and they listen to them enormously.
This makes the king and his subjects much more worried when conflicts between wizards and their organizations.
The Redania is also the kingdom that hosts the Seat of the Order of Assassins but, nobody knows except the Assassins themselves. But they are forced into a magic spell that prevents them from revealing any information about the Order.
The Heart of the Order is the free city of Novigrad, which the Order rules in the shadows. The League makes sure that nothing happens in Novigrad, whether near or far. For this reason, the city of the people in Novigrad is better than in the rest of Redania. But, of course, no one knows the League is the reason for this quality of life.
Despite its power and grandeur, the Order Council is currently in a session of the utmost importance.

The Hall of the Council of the Order is currently occupied by the elders and some masters of the Order. The atmosphere of the room is dark as well as heavy. Everyone in the room has serious expressions.
"Well, since everyone is present, we can start this meeting. As you probably know, many attacks have been made against several of our members. Although fortunately, none of our members were killed, the most serious will not be able to. never walk again, but he will have another job in the Order. " Lars starts the meeting. In the end, he turns his gaze to Leonidas.
"According to the reports we received, the people who attacked were trained soldiers. But, unfortunately, we did not find any symbols, letters, seals that will allow us to know who is orchestrating these attacks. On the other hand, we noticed that the attackers are only present in the Northern Kingdoms and, more precisely, in Temeria, Aedirn, Lyrie, Rivie, and Toussaint. " Leonidas finishes reading the reports and gives the floor to Fiona.
"With his knowledge, we decided to promulgate new rules which will be applied until further notice. First, no one can complete a single mission. Another assassin must accompany them. Second, every Assassin leaving an Order base must wear communication devices like Telecommunicator, crystal ball, or Xenovox. Finally, all assassins must report their positions every six hours. " Fiona explains the new rules for assassins to follow.
"Now that the new rules have been passed on, we'll talk about the main reason for your presence here in this room. Each of you is an experienced and powerful assassin. You will be divided into three groups and sent to the Realms to search for clues about who wants to go against us. "
"The meeting is now adjourned unless either of you has a question."

21 Yule 1199
Toussaint
It is a sunny region where it is hot and where people like to live. The vegetation is less present than in the other kingdoms, but nature takes a piece of the Duchy territory.
On a dirt road surrounded by very green grass, two horses trot and tread the earth with their hooves. Each horse is ridden by a rider, a man, and a woman.
The man is dressed in a long black hooded cape which hides his body, his clothes ... While the woman wears a long leather dress to protect herself from interference and keep her anonymity while having a minimum of armor. Both carry no distinctive signs or visible weapons, making them a prime target for bandits who wish to ambush them and strip them of their possessions.
The man and the woman ride their respective horse's side by side without too much chatter. He takes a road that runs along the edge of a forest. To their left is plain, and to their right, a forest. They continue on their way until sunset. They set up a makeshift camp a few downs in the forest under the protection of a cluster of trees very close to each other, which offer them some protection against the weather.
The man and woman are seated opposite each other with fire for warmth. A tent for one person is set up next to the fire. The two are eating a travel ration.
"So what do we do? Shall we continue the journey?" the man asks.
"Yes, we are continuing the journey. But, first, we have to go to Beauclar. I already told you." the woman answers.
"Yes, I know, but it's been a week since we arrived in the Duchy, and I don't have the impression that we have made much progress towards the capital. We should have already arrived." the man said in exasperation.
"Are you saying I lost us?" the woman asks with a slightly aggressive tone.
"I'm not saying it, but you do. I just mean it." the man retorts with a smirk.
"Ah, shut up and eat your ration." the woman ends the conversation angrily.
A slight silence seizes the surroundings, but it disappears quickly by the noise of running, the noise of galloping hooves, and the cries of anger from one or more men. The two turn to the screams and see six men on horseback chasing a woman also on horseback.
The men shout at the woman to stop, but the latter does not get it. Finally, however, her desperate expression lights up with hope when she sees two people standing at the edge of the forest.
"Help, help me! Please! They want to kill me!" The woman yells at them and walks over to her two people.
The woman's already tired horse gallops even faster after this last one whips her rump. As the men see the woman's horse speeding up, they do the same and push their horses to their limits.
"Don't interfere. We're the Duchess's men, and we're just capturing a criminal!" Then, the person who appears to be the group leader yells at the two people to warn them.
The two people look at each other for a second before stepping out of the way and letting the woman pass. The latter's expression liquefies in the face of the inactivity of the only people who could help her. Tears roll down her face as she walks past them.
The man smiles and walks past the man and woman.
BOOM
A powerful explosion echoes, raising a cloud of dust. The explosion caused the criminal's horse to speed up and the head turned, and her horse to slow down with difficulty.
Her head was spinning. She only saw a cloud of dust and earth coming down to the ground. The dust only reveals the bodies of charred men and horses in a small crater. The woman smiles and pulls on the reins of her horse to make him turn around. The horse then trots towards the man and the woman under the orders of its rider.
The horse stops, and the woman gets off. She then thanks her saviors.
"Thank you very much. I owe you my life. I am a woman of honor and will reward you for helping me. Name your award, and I will do everything in my power to help you." The woman said quickly to her saviors with immense joy.
The two look at each other, and the woman smiles.
"There is one thing you can do for us." answers the hooded woman.
"What should I do ?" the happy woman asks.
"Sleep for us." said the woman with a smile
"Eh ?" the woman answers before her vision turns black.
