Saffiyah walked down to Ash's room, opening the door and seeing Ash eating the slice of cake she saved for her. Next to Ash was a plate of food, or was a plate of food, as there were just a couple crumbs and marks. Saffiyah waited for Ash to finish, when she was done Ash used her magic to clean the plates she used, carrying them out and to the kitchen. Saffiyah followed, "So, how was the manual?" said Sera; "It was hard at first using it, then I had to change it a bit to make it more suitable for me" said Ash. "Hey Ash, follow me, today you can start physical training." shouted Aaron as he ran down the stairs straight out the door. Ash heard this ran outside, a spear flew sideways towards her, as if the person who threw it wanted it to get caught. Ash catched it due to her mana sensing, the power behind the tossed spear as much more than Ash could handle, sending her flying into the wall. 'BAM' as Ash collided with the wall, knocking her out again.
Ash woke up seeing two familiar faces looking down at her. Her father and her older brother, "Ash, are you alright?" said Max scratching the back of his head. Ash nodded and tried to stand up, feeling a sting all around her body and falling back down. Max picked her up and brought Ash back to her room. When Ash was layed down, Max left her room with an apology and some birthday cake, "Aaron, use the training spear, I will be making a basic training plan for Ash." Aaron nodded. Ash while laying down got bored, entering her mana pool and saw Grim asleep. Ash didnt know what had happened when she passed out and just thought that her partner was just tired, so she went into meditation, practicing her technique.
*Back when Max tossed the spear at Ash* 'Hmm, ok lets start off with something light for Ash' thought Max as he picked up a wooden spear and tossed it in Ash's direction. As soon as Ash got out the door, she managed to react in time, but what Max was expecting was for Ash to coat her body with mana and catch the spear. However Max noticed that Ash didnt coat herself with mana, 'Oh Crap'. Max watched as the spear bring his daughter crashing into the wall, Rushing over and throwing the spear aside, both him and Aaron sat beside Ash waiting for her to respond to them. It wasnt long before she woke up and made an attempt to get up, 'I'll just carry her to her room and act like she's just exhausted' thought Max terrified if his wife found out. He brought Ash to her room, using everything possible to sneak past his wifes senses, laying down Ash and getting her a slice of cake. 'You know what, combat training is far too early, I'll just have Ash train her body before I teach her hand-to-hand combat'.
Aaron went outside and got one of the weighted practice spears, the thing that made these practice spears effective was that you could give it mana and its weight would be increased. Lunging forward and stabbing straight with the spear, returning back to his stance and taking a couple steps forward, swinging the spear downwards. Aaron would move around and practice his swings and stabs, then he had a fun idea. "Hey Dad, I'm gonna go to the village", "Go ahead son" said Max who looked up from a piece of paper he was writing on. Aaron hearing this sprinted off, not going to the village but one of his secret hiding spots. It was a F-Rank zone within the village that was completely not noticed as its inhabitants ket to themselves unless you got too close. The monsters here were Spitting Mud Fish, they would spit a ball of wet dirt that at most would give a child a scratch.
The reason Aaron went here wasnt to kill these monsters, but to practice his skills, once he entered the hidden cave, he kicked up dust everywhere, attracting a whole mob of these fishes, then he got into a strange dome structure, where he stood in the middle. He sent out his aura which prevented the fish from getting too close, but not preventing them from attacking. Then, their attacks started, small pebbles of wet dirt flew aiming for Aaron, Aaron swayed side to side, sliding his legs and avoiding each and every attack. Using his mana sensing and normal senses, each attack missed, Aaron did this for a couple hours, when he was done he rushed out the cave with a smile across his face. He checked his mana pool and his Movement Technique orb was bigger, meaning that he got it to the Advanced stage. With every step, it was like he took many steps before, it was as if he was teleporting. He swiftly made it back to the house, just in time for lunch.
