Chapitre 1: Prologue

Life can be a funny thing; one moment you're sitting down to start reading or watching your favorite show, the next you're being whisked to a whole new adventure.

Anyway, my name is or was Sebastian Kariuki, just an average 21-year-old who was just getting to finish up my university degree in software development from one of the 'amazing' universities in the country. Born in a family of five with two loving siblings who were annoying most of the time but still loved them. Bit of an otaku and gamer but mostly liked reading and watching shows. Had some great friends who we started from high school together then went on to the same university.

Everything was great; I started learning what I liked, met new people, tried things to make myself better, and even started going to the gym. Then things started going downhill in my final year—the accident. Suddenly I get a call in the middle of class. Was going to ignore it and call back later after class, but it kept ringing even after ignoring it twice. So I got out of class and answered it.

"Hello, is this Sebastian Kariuki? We're calling from St. Mercy International Hospital concerning your family. Your parents and siblings were involved in an accident ...." I couldn't hear the rest of the call; I just took my bag and rushed to the hospital, leaving the lecturer calling my name as I ran. When I got there, my dad was only hanging by a thread, and all he could say was, "Take care of yourself; we love you." And he was gone just like the rest of my family. It turns out an over speeding minivan crushed into them, sending them off the highway, where it rolled several times.

After that, I took school leave to deal with the funeral arrangements, where afterwards it was mostly a blur for a couple of months till I got my sh*t together enough to try and go back to school. Honestly, the grief was killing me, and all I could do was watch TV shows and read novels and fanfics till I decided to start going out again. I tried not to cry because once it started, it wouldn't end, and I didn't want to wallow in my grief. I just hoped they were in a better place.

It was a couple months later that things started to seem normal; I got back to school and was almost done with my studies. Then one night I was settling down to watch a rerun of Teen Wolf when it happened. All I saw was a shadow and then darkness.

My eyes fluttered open only to see an endless void filled with twinkling light in the distance. Almost like stars. 'It can't be, can it?' I thought as I tried to move only to realize I couldn't. I looked down and couldn't see my body. 'What the hell!' I tried shouting but stopped when I realized it was pointless since I was probably the only one here since it seemed like a void.

So I stayed still wandering like a lost soul, which I probably was. I bet some ROB killed me and somehow forgot. Or maybe I just died normally? Who am I kidding? I don't know; all I can think about is what I saw last and trying to figure out what it was.

Then it happened. A bright light shone in front of me and revealed an old man, or at least what I assumed was an old man since I couldn't see his face only the body.

"Hello." I muttered.

"Hello, young one, I am sorry about this, but you died due to a mistake from one of our reapers. They were supposed to kill another Sebastian, your neighbor but you can see the result. This is why we send new reapers with older ones, they always make mistakes."

He muttered the last past probably to himself.

"So who are you?" I asked already guessing he was a ROB.

"Yes, I am what you call a ROB. Anyway let's get down to business. As compensation for our mistake, you'll be reincarnated into a world of your choosing, with your desired appearance as well as three wishes." he answered.

So the typical isekai package. Well its not like I had anything holding me back on earth. It would be nice to get a fresh new start. So lets think about what I want for the next world. First of all nothing too dangerous so no marvel or DC, even if I have wishes. I want something controllable to some sense.

So maybe something more laid back but exciting like the Originals, Vampire Diaries or even Teen Wolf. Yeah, Teen Wolf would be good, though always thought it could be better. Teen Wolf it is.

"I'd like to be reincarnated into Teen Wolf. For my first wish, I want to be an alpha weretiger AKA Regis Panthera that has three forms; the normal teen wolf shifter, a bipedal 8ft weretiger form and a full tiger form that can freely alter its size but its full size would be a 10ft tiger." I answered.

"That is acceptable." he said nodding.

"For my second wish, I want a body that is fully adaptable and have total body control." I said hopefully.

"I'll consider that as one wish, though being honest, the body control would have been a perk to the adaptability wish so its ok." He replied

"Thanks. For the third wish, I wish for a genius mind with extremely enhanced learning capabilities that include both eidetic and photographic memory."

"Okay, that's it for the wishes, you can customize your appearance in your mind and I'll implement it for you. Anything you wish to ask?" he asked

"Umm, can I awaken my memories at around four years old? And can I be the same age as Scott? Also can I awaken my weretiger when I am thirteen?" I asked hopefully.

"Yeah, that can be arranged as it isn't complicated." he answered easily.

"What's your name? I never got to ask."

He looked surprised at that. 'Guess no one ever asks or no one ever cared really.'

"Eldris, you can call me Eldris." he answered chuckling at my thoughts.

"Thank you, it may have been an accident but you gave me a fresh start. So thank you." I replied sincerely with a bow or what a floating orb can do for a bow.

"You're welcome young one. Now go and enjoy your new life." he replied with a smile as he waved his hand and I felt a strong pull as I was sucked into a swirling portal that appeared behind me and I was enveloped in darkness. But this time it was comforting.
