The barrage of swords suddenly stopped as they reached the bottom of the Sun House.
Each sword paused in place, and it alarmed everyone who were engaged in resistance.
The sun was already near the horizon yet the skies turned into a darker hue.
Kaff's group saw a small spark further above, and besides Kaff, everyone else's bodies became too rigid.
A field of light was eating away at the existing firmament that was the blue of the sky.
Particles as small as rice were starting to rain from above. It looked like everything stopped in place.
A ring of light appeared from where the swords were launching themselves.
The ring was radiating white light with rainbows at the edge, flaring with different intensities.
It floated downward so slow that it already took a minute yet it did not move for a while.
"Is that what I think it is?" Kaff asked, but no one responded.
Sorry for the delays, as I also have other important matters to attend to that I even lost my bonus for the current month in vain.
There were only less than 7 days left, and I still wasn't able to meet my goal in time, and thus... yep.
I know that this chapter also leaves with a few holes because my third person narrator is one that's able to describe a few things as I made it like that... and I'm having struggles with this because I've started that way, and also intend to finish that way.
