Chapitre 51: Painfully Unaware

Damien yawned as he sipped on a cup of coffee. He'd been having multiple sleepless nights in a row. Not only was the Supreme Alpha's visit more work than he had expected, but Safira's absence also left his heart empty.

Yukon was too. The regular runs and hunts in their surrounding forest could not keep him occupied. Both man and wolf wanted to see their mate but they couldn't. The moment he got anywhere close to the dungeons, word would get around.

He didn't want to jeopardize the trial. He tried to get Archer and Moraina to talk, knowing they had been visiting Safira, but neither of them said anything to him. In fact, they've been avoiding him.

"I can't seem to find Archer anywhere," Seth said as he entered Damien's study room.

The door was wide open so he didn't bother to knock either. When Damien turned around to meet him, Seth was taken aback.

"Still unable to sleep?" He asked.
