Chapitre 123: Just Us And The Shadows

Everyone shared a good laugh at the topic of discussion. No one knew what sort of titles would be in place in that situation. Perhaps they would only know for certain when the time came.

That night, Damien decided to take a walk before retiring for the day and Safira went along too. They walked through the nearby forests under the soft glow of moonlight, listening to the sounds of the forest.

Neither of them noticed that they were being watched. Shadows lurked under the cover of darkness. They didn't catch the scent of wolves around them. But a gut feeling crept up to them soon enough.

'Stay close and act normal,' Damien mind-linked to Safira as he smiled at her as a cover-up.

Safira tensed up immediately but kept up a normal expression. On Damien's signal, they both shifted into their wolf forms and sprinted forward. This sudden change caught the attention of the wolves in the shadow.
