When she opened her eyes again, Safira wondered how long she had been asleep. She looked all around her, quickly realizing that she was not in reality.

She was in her own mindscape. She walked for miles and miles only to find herself back at the same place. There was nothing distinct that informed her if she was making any progress.

Eventually, she gave up and sat down on the ground. Being in her own mind gave her time to think. She didn't know when she was going to wake up again but she knew one thing for certain, she missed Damien badly.

Just then, something felt different. She could feel herself regaining consciousness. Safira saw a flash of light up ahead. She got up to her feet and ran towards it at once.

In reality, she opened her eyes. Fatigue and pain overwhelmed her senses all at once. She could not move her body.

She opened her mouth, hoping to speak, but no words came from her lips.

'Where am I?' She wondered to herself.
