Chapitre 220: Report back to the Elders

Shelby turned sideways to look at her husband and shook her head in disbelief. As if understanding her question, Ian added,

"He's been asking for some time off for a while, and it's not like the woods would harm him, so he can stay in there and take that as his time off!"

Shelby's mouth dropped open, and she decided not to bother with her husband's statement.

Murray smirked and then asked,

"I wonder why he has not re-appeared though. He should have been able to teleport from there back here."

"Maybe he cannot!"

*Boom!*

That was the first time that day that Murray registered a surprise because he had never thought of that possibility. Even Shelby was startled as she had not thought beyond the fact that Currey was trapped in there.

Ian continued, "Looking at the way he is restless in the painting, something must be awfully wrong for him to be there still if his powers worked."
