Chapitre 393: In the depths of the mine [4]

"Walk faster you idiot." 

I couldn't quite remember how long I walked. All I thought about was ways to insult Evelyn and make her continue forward. 

The more I cursed at her the less scared she felt. 

It was funny to think about. 

"Hurry up! You're useless." 

It wasn't hard to mimic how the previous Julien spoke. It was rather easy if I had to say so myself. 

"Ah, you idiot! That's the wrong direction. Next time you mess it up I'll beat you and Leon." 

I raised my voice whenever she went in the wrong direction. 

Evelyn would flinch, but she would quickly move in the right direction shortly after. It wasn't long before we finally managed to reach a familiar path and I sighed in relief at the sight of it. 

"Looks like you're not worth for sh—" 

As the words were getting out of my mouth, I blinked once. That was all it took for my surroundings to change.
