A week or so has passed and the academy has started again. After listening to the Third Hokage drone on about the will of fire we are allowed in and the classes start. Skipping the classes and going to the principal's office I apply for early graduation.
Hokage POV
Looking at the boy I met after the nine tails attack, I see him ask for early graduation. I give a nod to the shadows and an hour later a file is on my desk. Opening it up I see Ryohei Shin file and what his background is. Special jonin mom and jonin dad, they died during the nine tails attack. Has been running around and working out since the attack. Hmm let him join ROOT and after a while I'll 'rescue' him and he'll be more loyal.
"Go get Danzo."
45 minutes later Danzo came in. "Danzo, I want you to have Ryohei Shin in the root. Train him well. That will be all. You're dismissed." With nothing left to say to him he sent him away after approving the request for Ryohei Shin to graduate early, but I'll leave it under wraps for now until I can get my hands on him, and put him in ANBU.
Before Danzo could even speak, he was told what to do then told to leave. Feeling disgruntled he headed back to the ROOT base and got the report on Ryohei Shin. His file was nothing noteworthy but he could see the potential in him. Giving a nod two ROOT operatives went to get Ryohei.
Mc POV
After mentioning to the principle that I want to graduate early he put in a request for me and sent me back home to study. On the way back two people appeared before me "Follow us." Sensing them, they're both jonin. Realizing I can't take them I comply and follow them to what is probably the ROOT base. Staring at Danzo as he places seals on my body and tongue, I just hope I can use [Absorption] on them.
"From now on you're part of ROOT. You'll train here for some time then you'll be sent on missions. Take him to his new room." Danzo said with a casual dismiss.
As I'm being led to my new room for the foreseeable future. I think about what I'm going to do. With being a dog to Danzo now I have many opportunities to get my hands on bodies for [Absorption] after my training. Finally, arriving at my room and after the ROOT agent gives me my new schedule and uniform, he leaves. With him gone I put the uniform on with the mask being a bird mask. The schedule was strict hardly any time to rest. Brutal physical training, mental training, torture to get me use to it and a bunch of other things. Seeing it would be a harsh time I brace myself and promise to get revenge on Danzo myself. Calming down a little I activate my skill and lucky I'm able to use it on all of the seals on me, so I immediately got rid of them all besides the one on my tongue. The seal disappearing would alert Danzo.
One year later
My training is finally over and I've been able to fool them in thinking I'm brainwashed. It was a brutal time training, nothing a 7-year-old should go through. Scars cover my body, but with it over I don't have to worry about it anymore. Going to see Danzo to get my first mission he gives me a folder and says "Karasu (raven in Japanese), this will be your first mission. Don't disappoint" with that he sends me away to get ready for the mission. A week later I'm back. It was just stalking someone and giving the intel to Danzo.
Months later after coming back from a mission, I was given a peculiar mission. It was to keep an eye on Itachi. He just graduated from the academy at the age of 6, a little later than me. I was put on a team with him and was to report to Danzo every week. Replacing Tenma Izumo in Team 2, the one who dies and basically disbands the team, the others of the team are Shinko Inari and the leader Tenma Izumo. For a while things were pretty mundane with the team. Snagging some bodies with shadow clone jutsu and having them to put in my inventory helps a lot. My reporting's weren't anything special besides saying he is a genius. When I was 8 and Itachi was 7, he awoken his Sharingan. Telling Danzo this he was astonished. With him being basically obsessed with the Uchiha he knew no one that young has awakened it.
"You must get closer to him. Any way possible."
"Yes Lord Danzo."
With that done I went to go find Itachi to train with. I've been training with him and Shisui for about 4 months and the training is fruitful to say the least. Even with me being a jonin, almost elite, from absorbing corpses from missions, ROOT included, this past year I still have to train some things. Considering most missions were escort missions we only met bandits. If we were lucky, they could've somehow got their hands on how to refine chakra. Which would ever so slightly increase my chakra reserves, increase my physical strength, and give me more chakra affinities.
Meeting Itachi and Shusui we train with shuriken and then they fight with their Sharingan while I take notes for Danzo. Thinking, I have 6 years until the massacre and 4 years until Shisui death. I need to come up with a plan to benefit from both. Either I need to be with Danzo when he takes Shisui eye, or if I'm not there I need to have a clone around to take his other eye. Itachi will awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan no matter what with how strong his and Shisui bond is. For the massacre I need to either be with Itachi as he does it, or around there to take bodies especially Fugakus body. Can't let his eyes go to waste. I have a while before then, and with Itachi becoming a Chunin in a couple of years I'll get to absorb more bodies. No way Danzo lets Itachi do the exam alone like in canon.
