Standing before Mrs. Yeager and Victor, Everly interlocked her hands.
"Ma'am, I like to quit." She announced, and a frown instantly emerged on Mrs. Yeager's face.
"What?! What do you mean by that?" She questioned.
"It is as it seems. I like to quit. I do not feel comfortable doing this job. So please forgive me for that. You won't have to worry because the agency will send you a new caregiver." Everly spoke as politely as she could.
"But we don't want a new caregiver. You are doing a good job, so what is the problem? Is it the pay? I can raise it higher if you want." Mrs. Yeager said with a confused expression on her face, but Everly simply smiled at her.
