Chapitre 136: Starting All Over Again

"Well, I didn't know you worked part-time at an auto shop besides being the leader of Blue Rose. I really thought we were close enough to tell me about it," she reminded him as she leaned back on the counter.

Chris stayed quiet as he tightened the lock nuts, followed by rechecking the distance between the two rods. "I just didn't talk too much about it because I wanted to see you as soon as possible but because of that, we met each other sooner than expected." He responded, sliding out from beneath the car as she handed him a towel to dust himself off.

"Keys." He said bluntly, palms facing up towards her.

"Huh? Oh right, car keys." Miso fetched the keys from her back pocket and placed them on his open palm. 

Chris studied her lost expression knowing that she was obviously oblivious of cars and their procedures. He opened the car door and slid inside, starting the engine. "Test drive?" He asked, waiting for her permission to drive the car.
