Chapitre 391: Sneaking Out

The moment she saw the name on the screen, Hazel felt a wave of relief washing over her. After taking a deep breath, Hazel swiped her finger on the screen.

In just seconds, the screen turned black. 

Hazel squinted as she tried to check whether the call was disconnected, but then, she heard his voice.

"Hazel?"

Her heartbeat gradually calmed down. "Un." At this time, Hazel could see some movement. She figured out that Alex should have his lights off, which was why she could only see the dark. Then, she realized that his voice sounded a little groggy. "Sorry. Were you sleeping just now?"

"It's alright." Alex cleared his throat a few times. "Were you having a bad dream again?"

"Hmm…" 

"Are you alright?"
