Chapitre 269: The Summon

Without realizing it, her legs had started wrapping around the prince to hold him close to her body and she quickly pulled them away and escaped his dangerous grasp. 

Even when she got off the bed, she realized she wasn't going to make it far.

Basileus followed her to the computer and wrapped his arms around her waist while he continued to press his mouth against the back of her neck. 

The last thing she was expecting was to see one of her advisors appear on screen with a stern expression gracing their features. 

He was an older alien with faintly purple skin. She couldn't tell if the dark purple spots throughout his skin were from age or a natural feature from whichever planet he came from. 

Normally he was kind to Varya but he had such an upset expression she suddenly became very afraid.
