Chapitre 1: prologue

In a boundless world, where unimaginable things exist, there is an infinite number of species and creatures that cannot be comprehended, each one differing from the other in thousands of ways. In a world where the strongest stand at the top, anything can be expected.

Often, there are things that are difficult to understand, even for those who have already reached the top. The sky was one of them—a dark curtain at times, adorned with endless lights and points. Some of these points may take millions of years to reach, while others are simply unreachable. The masters stood at the pinnacle of this world, individuals who have understood and experienced this world for thousands of years, people who began from clay and blood, now standing above all creatures. Most of them were exploring the world in search of a new challenge or out of a love for discovery. Although many revered them as if they were a kind of religion, there were many things they did not understand. The stars, for example, were incomprehensible; from a distance, they appeared smaller than dust, but up close, they could not be fully seen. They could be an entire planet or just dust gathered around itself. Some had a history filled with blood and wars that led to prosperity and flourishing, while others were the opposite.

The stars were like any living being in this world, imprisoned in an endless cycle of death and rebirth, regardless of the differences in the process and form, but the principle remains the same. There were an infinite number of planets, each home to an infinite number of beings. Some were small enough to be destroyed if a person was strong enough, while others were enormous, containing millions of creatures that could not be defeated even with an army of millions of soldiers. On a certain massive planet filled with magical colors.

The planet was mostly water; in fact, there was only one massive landmass in the center, along with some islands and small lands scattered across the planet. In this vast land, which was purple in many areas, the color purple was mostly a beautiful hue, used to adorn things, but here it bestowed an aura of reverence and majesty. The massive mountains, whose ends could not be seen, dotted the entire planet, and with the colors of the seas and rivers, these hues blended to create a magical feeling for any observer.

In the sky, six moons are hanging; in total, there are seven, but the seventh rarely appears, even once in decades it might show up just once. The six remaining moons represented many things. For example, one of them was a light yellow color, like sunlight, often depicted as the change among the rest. The yellow color was rare, both on the planet and even in its sky, which made the yellow moon stand out from the other moons. While the blue moon is mentioned in love and romance stories, whether it symbolizes something or has a greater meaning, it could be that the greater meaning is historical or religious at times. However, in the meantime, no one had enough time to think about history or religion.

In the midst of the vast land, there were mountain ranges stretching over 700 kilometers and more than a thousand kilometers in length. Above them stood a colossal city, both in size and power. The city was entirely built from black and gray stones, with massive buildings reaching over two hundred kilometers, lined up next to each other like soldiers. The road was adorned with ornamental symbols, yet one could feel the power pulsating from it. At the end of the city, there was a tall and massive tower. At its base, it had a square shape that tapered upwards, becoming thinner and spiral-shaped. The tower reached the clouds, even taller than the highest mountain range on the entire planet. There, there was a huge, empty hall; there was no door leading to the hall, just a recess in the wall. The floor was a grayish white, as if made of crystal or precious gems. At the end of the hall, there was a magnificent throne made entirely of bronze, adorned with engravings that glowed in all colors. Next to the throne stood a massive man, standing upright and gazing out the enormous window behind the throne. The window was incredibly large and ornate, covering the entire wall, revealing all the land in intricate detail. Occasionally, a cloud would pass in front of the window, but it did not spoil the view.

The man standing beside the throne had long, curly black hair, and his dark skin resembled water. His curly beard, adorned with some rings that tied back strands, gave an imposing aura to the observer. He was tall, almost taller than the average man, and his well-built physique was such that his dark purple armor could not conceal it. The aura emanating from him was balanced and desolate, yet also strong and majestic. In a place like this, one can say it is a great place and is revered by many people, and that is the truth. The ethereal throne hall, as its name suggests, is one of the most sacred places on the entire planet, a place where great individuals who changed the world and history gathered. Surely, a place like this must hold at least some reverence. The man was looking through the giant window and seeing the entire continent; the view from above made the whole world seem curved. The few clouds covered small parts of the land, while a rainbow could be seen shimmering on the horizon. It was sunset now; a few rays of the sun could be seen fading away, and the six moons were emerging faintly.

After the sun had completely set, it was like any ordinary night, but the man knew what was about to happen; in fact, he already knew the outcome of what was going to unfold. Through the darkness of the night, glowing spots emerged through the mountain ranges, flying towards the horizon. The spots had different colors, and their auras varied as well. There were about a hundred spots, each pulsating with tremendous energy. From where the sun had set, faint white rays appeared. As time passed, they began to emerge larger and brighter, forming a massive circle of brilliant white light. Four enormous shadows appeared, larger and taller even than mountain ranges. As she flew towards the horizon, her spots displayed different colors, just as her halos varied. There were about a hundred spots, each pulsating with tremendous strength. From where the sun had set, faint white rays appeared, and over time, they began to emerge larger and brighter, forming a massive circle of brilliant white light. Four enormous shadows emerged, larger and taller than the mountain ranges themselves. The shadows twisted like the flow of a river, with various colors scattered across their bodies. The four shadows looked powerful just by their appearance alone, but also, black spots appeared beside them, floating like glowing insects from the mountain chains. They all faced each other as if ready to collide, and to everyone's surprise, that's exactly what happened.

The small spots began to move quickly towards each other; it wasn't easy to see their movements due to their distance and speed, but it was easy to predict where they would collide. Bright sparks appeared, scattering in the air, while icebergs surged from the ground like nails, and rings of lightning struck various areas. The surrounding areas were affected by the fighting, and half of the surrounding mountain range was destroyed. The mighty force that emanated from the battle was enough to destroy an entire city, and the window in front of the man shook slightly. His expression hadn't changed much, remaining the same old face without any features. Behind him, at the entrance of the hall, there was a person standing in the shadows, their red eyes glowing in the darkness, as if they were the only thing present there. The person took a step forward and emerged into the dim light of the hall. They had long, curly brown hair, and their young face, with a bluish tint to the skin, resembled that of the man. They wore a nearly destroyed silver armor, with a fur cloak draped over their back. There were some burns on all sides of their body, yet they stood tall and straight as if they were unscathed. With a bit of suffering, the young man knelt on one knee and said, "O ruler!" "The army is being shattered little by little; the remaining ranks will not be able to withstand."

The governor said nothing, as if he hadn't heard the young man at all, and kept his gaze fixed on the scene before him. The massive white sun behind the four shadows of the giant began to shine brighter and brighter. Its light could blind anyone, but no one cared about this light due to their strength. After a little while, the light began to dim and returned to its normal brightness, but from behind the reduced light, a figure appeared before the white sun. He was small in size compared to the four shadows, and even among all the inhabitants of this continent, his size could be compared to that of an ant. However, all the people in important positions in the empire and the historians knew who this person was. He was wearing a plain brown cloak, with some golden embroidery on his sleeves, and there were golden ribbons fluttering behind his back. In his right hand, he held a relatively small scroll, its bronze metal ends shining, and the paper was yellowed, suggesting it was very old. The man stood in the air without any support from anything, as if there were ground for him to step on. The man raised the scroll in front of him, opened it, his long, emotion-free face was giving a powerful aura to anyone looking at him closely. The man opened his mouth and began to read the scroll: "To all the inhabitants of the Empire of Light, and to all the inhabitants of the continent as well." "You have one last chance to survive, which is to submit to the outer kingdom and stop resisting. Otherwise, these four generals will ensure the complete annihilation of the continent."

The man's voice echoed across the entire continent, heard by people at the farthest reaches of the land. The air next to him vibrated to the point that the oscillations could be seen. The fighting that was happening in the middle stopped; the soldiers and generals of the Specter Empire were looking at the man with the wrap with strange eyes. The war had started more than twenty years ago, and the battles between the two sides have not stopped for a single day. Today, it is possible that this war may come to an end. The external power of the kingdom was truly formidable. Their methods of attracting external strength and even persuading people to join them, leaving everything behind, were very cunning. Over the past twenty years, the Empire of the Spectrum has recognized the external power of the kingdom, both on the battlefield and in politics and cunning. In the pitched battles that could easily last for several years, the soldiers of the Empire of the Spectrum displayed courage and strength, but they were met with overwhelming force from the external kingdom.

The young man remained kneeling on one knee, watching what was happening. Over the past years, he had been considered the young star of the empire and the noble clans. He had no rivals among his peers, and even among the older generation, there were few who could match him. However, during the war, he realized that not everything revolved around brute strength. He learned various methods of warfare, but in the end, he managed to win one battle out of five. "During this time, the Empire of the Spectrum had no means of survival other than surrender." "O ruler, I fear there is no chance of survival; I do not believe the rest of the army can hold out after the defeat of General Dorgo." The young man said sincerely, General Dorgo was one of the talented generals who managed to win many battles during the war, but in the end, he was defeated as badly as anyone else by a general from the foreign kingdom.

The governor did not respond for a while, but then he said, "We still have the sovereign protector in our possession."

When he said that, the peak of one of the nearby mountains erupted, rocks and dust scattered everywhere. From it emerged a tall and slender body, silver in color with blue scales. The body had four arms, each with sharp claws, and it was long with a tail that also had silver fur. A roar echoed throughout the continent, a roar that had annihilated many enemies throughout history and was a terrifying foe to anyone who dared to encroach upon the Empire of the Shade or the continent in general.

It was nothing but the sovereign beast, the silver moon dragon, Sira!

The dragon soared and twisted around itself as it looked at the four gaint shadows One of them moved, having yellow scales like lightning rods, holding a golden rod in his hand as if he were shaping the lightning. The dragon moved swiftly toward the shadow, as the shadow waved the golden column directed at the dragon's head. The dragon moved its entire body, circled around the golden pillar, and raised its claws, directing them towards the shadow's head. The shadow was no different from the enemies that Sira had faced before; they all fell to the ground, lifeless corpses. But the difference here was that the shadow began to fade little by little, just as the golden pillar fell, and the sound of its collapse echoed across the battlefield.

In the background, the man with the golden stripes calmly observed the scene before him. He was neither tense nor excited about the appearance of the sovereign dragon; in fact, he was less than enthusiastic about fighting or confronting such a legendary creature. If it weren't for the preparations made before this battle, he would now be weighing every step he took before facing this dragon. Hmph, you foolish dragon, to think that you can easily kill the generals of the outer kingdom without any consequences. You believe your power is immense, but to be honest with you, without your master, you are nothing. "Now, go to the other world in silence." After saying that, the man raised his hand towards the sky, and a golden light appeared from above, illuminating the entire night sky. The light formed into a golden pillar and struck the body of the dragon, crashing into the ground with the immense pressure of this light pillar. Sira tried to resist with all her strength, but her skin began to crumble, and her power started to wane. After a short while, she stopped moving, the golden pillar vanished, and the night sky returned to what it was. All that remains of a sovereign monster like the dragon Sira is just a lifeless body devoid of spirit, lying on the ground.

In the spiral tower, the ruler stood as he was, and although his expression did not change, he had lost hope since the golden column appeared from the sky. There was no other hope for survival now. In the back, the young man's gaze was empty; he had no thoughts in his mind at that moment. In fact, he couldn't think of any other way to survive now. The three remaining shadows began to move, each emanating a formidable power that destroyed everything around them. Behind them, where the man with the ribbons stood, he looked at the spiral tower, specifically at its peak, as if he could see the ruler and knew exactly what he was thinking at that moment. He opened his mouth, but no one could hear what he said; only the ruler caught a few words. "It was a good battle, oh ruler of the giants. You held up well for twenty years, but surely you know, it is impossible to defeat my sovereign."

After that, columns of fire began to rise from the ground, destroying the continent. The ruler did not move; he remained in place, reflecting on everything that had happened. His empire had been glorious, capable of crushing many kingdoms and empires, but now it was its turn for destruction.

This was the end of the Empire of the Spectrum.

This was the end of the second era.

This was the end.
