Chapitre 43: Was he right or wrong

"I will kill the next wave all by myself," Dan said, causing a moment of silence among them.

"Hahaha… do you want to die?" Tomen laughed.

"If I ever wanted to die, it wouldn't be at the hands of these weak creatures, and in a place like this," Dan waved his hand in front of his nose.

"Hmph… prideful!" Tomen scoffed. "You heard him; he will take on the next wave by himself."

They continued their journey deeper inside the cave. As they delved deeper, it became more dusty and stuffy. The air was now getting hard to breathe.

"We should be careful and watch our steps; there might be traps ahead," Leo said.

"Roger!" they all responded.

After a few minutes, they arrived where the next wave was located. Unlike the first, this wave was awake, making little screeching sounds to communicate.

"I'm off then…" Dan put his hand inside his pocket and began to march toward the wave.
