Chapitre 38: Side Story: What is his name

"Oh, I'm so hungry," Valerie muttered as her stomach growled loudly. She was seated outside the little house, looking into the forest.

This was exactly two years after Dan's departure to Durakon and a month before his return.

"I wish that brat was here," she said, dropping her head. "I have decided! I am leaving this place. Any more of this, and I will die."

Valerie jumped up from the chair with fire burning in her eyes. Her stomach growled again, and she fell back into the chair. "I'm gonna die," she said. "But before I do, I need to write my will."

Holding her stomach, she walked slowly into the house like an old woman and came out with a scroll and ink. She dipped her hand into the ink and began writing on the scroll. After some minutes of scribbling, she rolled up the scroll and went inside. She placed it on a table and packed her belongings with some necessities.
