Hey, Troy… where did you get that name from?" Dan's voice was shaking and unclear, his breathing ragged and more like panting. He turned to face Troy. Troy got up from the grass, looking at Dan's sudden grim expression.
"What's the matter, Dan? You look pale," Troy asked, scrutinizing Dan.
"Where did you hear that name?" Dan asked again, this time his voice was lower.
"Relax, I read it from one of the books in the library," Troy answered.
"Books?"
"Yeah, you know, all those historical books teaching how the kingdoms were formed and so on. I read those a lot," Troy said, managing to reduce the feeling of dread in Dan's heart, though not entirely.
"In one of the books, it said that Castoria was also known as the country of Dragons, and each city bore the name of ancient dragons. Although I still find it hard to believe dragons existed," Troy stroked his chin.
"So the name Durakon…?" Dan brought Troy back to the initial discussion.
