Chapitre 47: Father or Enemy?

Claire came inside her new office which was assigned to her by Joshua and actually felt good because, now that she had her company back, she could at least call this place her own.

The office was also quite spacious and bright. It was way better than her small office, where she was working before. That was a sign of her hard-won success.

But she also knew that the fight was not over yet. 

Her father and stepmother were still holding 20% shares of the company, and she was certain they would make a huge scene about her merging the companies without their consent. 

She got to know from the company that her father had transferred 10% of his own share to her stepmother, and she couldn't help but feel a pang of hurt. 

'Why were you so cruel with us, dad?' She pointed towards herself and her mother and said, 'Never for once did you do anything for me and my mother, but now you can even give your own share to that woman.'
