Chapitre 406: Showtime

Sylvie was terribly embarrassed about needing Drake to spring her car from car jail but he didn't seem bothered. His expression was as cold and emotionless as ever. She really wondered what went on in his head but wasn't about to ask. 

"Here," he said before they parted again. "Get whatever you need with this. The PIN is 2803."

Just like that, he was gone again and she was left clutching the debit card he had given her. She headed to the store in a daze. He said to get whatever she needed…did that include the baking utensils she had left behind? He had said everything could be replaced. 

Sylvie decided to just go for it rather than bother him again. He was rich; it wasn't like he wouldn't be able to afford a stand mixer or some baking sheets. 

While she was out, he had also texted her the gate code to get back into the gated community. That was good. She wouldn't even have thought to ask for that until she got there and was locked out.
